Thomas is the most cheerful tour guide we ever had! Ready to help in anyway he can, he goes out of his way to make the trip a real pleasant experience.

Jozef & Denise, Canada

This being our first caravan trip, the Wagonmaster far exceeded our expectations. If you wish to see real people in real places not usually included in regular tour itineraries, this is the trip for you.

Bob & Ann, KS

This has been an experience of a lifetime. We were introduced to the food, culture and beauty of four countries through the expertise of our staff and the local tour guides, which were exceptional.

Maggie, WI

We would recommend European Motorhome Tours to all who enjoy traveling by RV.

Ed & Ann, FL

We really appreciated the personal attention and assistance we received. Thomas is always there to help with a positive attitude.

Russ & Jane, TX

We wanted to experience these countries and there is no better way out there than European Motorhome Tours. This was our 3rd trip with them!

Our guest's point of view: Meet Jerry & Judy Funk

Jerry and Judy Funk have been traveling with us for years. Here is a note from them personally why they love traveling through Europe with us:

Since our retirement in 2001, we have spent most of our time traveling in a 5th wheel and our truck camper. This has taken us through much of the US, Canada and over 20,000 miles in Mexico. We are very mobile and often travel off the beaten path exploring small towns and out of the way places. European travel never crossed our minds until we met Gaby and Dieter, the founders of European Motorhome Tours. Having never been in Europe before, we researched a number of options and decided to travel with them and later with Thomas after he took over the business.  We are so glad we did and have now completed all the tours. Our original research proved to be correct.  We could never duplicate these tours on our own.  They are so well organized and time-tested that there is no lost time on the ground in Europe. That was really important to us to make the most of our time there. Things like Ferry schedules, museum times, campgrounds and special events (like changing of the guards at several places) are all well planned so we have maximum quality time with great guides at these sites. The tours and guides are tops and campgrounds are great, often with their own excellent restaurants serving a wide variety of local dishes in a non-touristy atmosphere.  If you want to mingle with the locals, here is one place to do it.

These tours have taken us to many major cities and sites in Europe, but equally important are the many smaller villages and roadways we have been able to explore.  We're tourists, but we're traveling with two Europeans the way Europeans might do when they are on vacation, giving us a feel and better perspective for what everyday life in Europe is all about.  We're not traveling with a bunch of people hopping off a bus or boat here and there and missing everything in between.  This is more like a month long 24/7 fun-filled European immersion course with Thomas, Schorsch (our Bavarian Tailgunner on our last few trips with Thomas) and a maximum of eight to ten other RV's.

Both Thomas and Schorsch are very capable, experienced world travelers that are enthusiastic about what they do.  They both explain so much history and cultural tradition as we go along on these tours. Evening happy hours are often enjoyable and educational discussions about life in Europe. This adds a huge amount to these tours and leads to many repeat customers and enjoyable, fun trips.

We like to keep the rental RV for a week or so after the tour ends so we can explore more of Europe on our own.  Because of these tours, we are now comfortable doing this and we have come to love the Mosel and Rhine River Valleys.  We also cherish the many 1/2 timber villages like Rothenburg and Dinkelsbühl that are so easy to visit in an RV.

If you want to really experience Europe, its culture, people, history and all it has to offer, that's easy to do on a very personal level with European Motorhome Tours.

Keep On Traveling, Jerry and Judy

Had we been on our own, we wouldn’t have seen near us much. We enjoyed the adventure every day. Thank you for being so good at what you do!

Dan & Barbara, AZ

Great tour! Great people! Great food!

Judy, TX

This was a trip of a lifetime! The staff is professional and friendly and there was never a dull moment with new experiences every day.  We highly recommend this way of traveling Europe.

Rod & Michele, Australia

This was wonderful! We saw so much more than on any other type of tour and all the details were taken care of. Every day was fun!
